Post-Production Technician

Kraus Motor Co is looking for a strong candidate with the ability to work in our dynamic and fast-pace post-production division. The right person will be able to take a hands-on role in our post production division and exhibit flexibility to balance multiple tasks at once. The ability to prioritize and be flexible as the workday requires.  You will be a vital team member and your tasks will vary day to day.  You will work closely with the other team members to achieve high quality standards and production goals as required. This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and also as a team.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • First level Post Production QC
  • Tumbling
  • Anodizing
    • Preparing Anodizing shipment
    • Receiving Anodizing and inspecting/QC
      • Confirm and process packing slip
      • Manage discrepancy for no-pass QC
  • Laser Engraving process
  • Pre-Assembly stocking
  • Assembly & Pre-Pack QC
  • Skin Board/Packaging
    • SKU packaged (sellable) inventory in holding zone
  • Responsible for keeping the Assemblies Book up to date at all times
  • Work with Production Foreman to identify manufacturing needs
  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor/lead
  • Assume responsibility for quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds expectations
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Use safe working practices and required personal protective equipment at all times
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Other jobs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Some experience in manufacturing processing / willingness and interest to learn
  • Excellent hand-eye dexterity (able to assemble small components quickly)
  • Able to see and grasp small parts and components
  • Knowledge of hardware types and sizes needed for proper assembly of parts
  • Able to follow direction
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve quickly for best outcome
  • Dependable with the ability and willingness to work the duration of assigned shifts
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge (Google docs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
